Разработчик игр Gearbox и французский производитель алкоголя Pernod Ricard объявили о долгосрочном сотрудничестве для продвижения шотландского бренда виски «Баллантайнс» (Ballantine's).Лицом напитка неожиданно стала красотка Безумная Мокси из Borderlands. Ей даже присвоили уникальную должность главного специалиста по галактическому расширению. В задачи входит «помощь в запуске второго по объёму рынка скотча в игровую стратосферу».
В обозримом будущем «Баллантайнс» запустит продажи тематического виски с Мокси на обложке, покупатели которого получат уникальный контент для Borderlands 3.
В честь коллаборации Gearbox подготовила специальный ролик с героями Borderlands, где все издеваются над Клептрепом, потому что он не может выпивать.
